Since it's snowing pretty good here in Madison, I'm not in any rush to start my 10-mile drive home from work. My Grand Cherokee will make it fine but traffic's a mess. I was thinking about recording snownuts and other hoonery and found Best Buy is selling this refurbished !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
It's in stock at my local store too.
It shoots 1080p, has image stabilization, comes with a couple mounts, and has a universal mount socket so you can use whatever other mounts you want. The reviews say the wifi connection might be a bit wonky but hey, it's $99 for what's apparently a decent action cam.
Sound I go for it?

Factory refurb? Generally a good buy.

My friend told me that it's actually better to buy photography equipment refurbished than new. New stuff was simply put together by a factory worker, while refurbished products are completely broken down, inspected by an expert, and reassembled. It's like an extra layer of QC.

My brother was looking for one of these... Thanks for the heads up on the price.
Also, it looks to me like $100 is the new price. If you click the "Buying Options" button, the Best Buy $100 price is listed under "New." The "Refurbished" camera costs $120 + shipping :).
